Connect Apple Developer Account

Link your Apple Developer Account to BuddyBoss so you can generate certificates, sync in-app products, and prepare for publishing.

Make sure you’ve already created your Apple Developer account and generated the required API keys to enter in the iOS Settings of your BuddyBoss App.

Generating API Keys

Enable your iOS app for distribution and services.

1. Log in to App Store Connect using your credentials
2. Go to Users and Access
3. Click on the Integrations Tab
4. Click the + symbol next to Active
5. Name the key and select Admin under Access
   • Name will be used only as a reference inside your Apple Developer account.
   • The Admin role is recommended to give the BuddyBoss App plugin full permissions for all features.
   • The App Manager role works too, but some features (like Publishing) will need extra setup since permissions are limited.
6. Click Generate to create the API Key
7. Click the Download API Key link next to the key you just generated
   • You’ll only be able to download the key once, so make sure you keep it somewhere safe in case you need to re-enter it again in the future.
8. Copy your Issuer ID and the key’s Key ID, ready to enter them in your BuddyBoss App’s settings

Uploading to WordPress

Add Apple API key to your WordPress site.

1. Go to WordPress Admin > BuddyBoss App > Configure > IOS Settings
2. Upload the API key you downloaded in the Connect Your Apple Developer Account section
3. Enter Key ID and Issuer ID
4. Click Connect Account

Your Apple Developer Account is now connected. You can disconnect anytime to change the API key or switch accounts.
